Chandranath Temple is situated in Sitakunda,Chittagong,Bangladesh.Here I am giving you a travel description of a traveler Rezwan Tahmi.
He visited Chandranath Temple,which cost him only 500 BDT in just one day.
Start from Dhaka to Sitakunda by Mail Train ( local train ) at 10:30 pm from Kamalpur Rail Station. Fair:120 taka. The train will reach at sitakunda station within 7.00 am next day.
Get out from the train at Sitakunda station. Take a rest,refresh and go for the breakfast in a local restaurant. Budget for breakfast 20-30 taka per person.

Buy some light snacks such as Water,Bread,Banana,potato chips before start journey to Chandranath Hill. There is no hotel or restaurant in the hilly region.
Buy a bamboo stick as it is very useful for tracking.Price:20 taka.It will take 2 hours to climb the Chandranath temple.While tracking take rest and enjoy the surrounding beauties of the hill.
After climbing the Chandranath Temple, enjoy the silence of the hills and fresh air.If you are lucky enough you can see clouds flying near you.Keep the environment clean as it is a holly place for the hindu pilgrims.

Take diner and board to Mail Train to Dhaka at 10:30 pm.You will reach Dhaka at 7:00 am.
